For the first time, the women of Blackheath Rugby are heading to Algarve 7s Sports Festival, stepping into the Women’s Open competition.

Founded in 1858 in south-east London, Blackheath is the oldest open rugby club in continuous existence in the world and a name that has been part of rugby’s story since the very beginning.

We’re proud to have such a historic club joining us in the Algarve, especially as the women’s competitions continue to grow stronger every year. Now their women’s side is ready to bring that iconic badge onto the 7s stage 🌊🏉
