Juromenha is an historical Portuguese beautiful little village, located in Alentejo, near the Spanish border.
The local Clube de Rugby de Juromenha was founded in 1997, so they are now celebrating their 25th anniversary. Juromenha have participated in the Algarve 7s in the past but with their veterans team.
In fact their veterans team is one the most active in the country, having toured internationally to places as far as Hawaii to compete in the Golden Oldies competition.
Now they are strecthing to younger ages and for the first time they will be competing in the OPEN MEN tournament with an invitational team fielding players from several teams in Portugal and Spain. After the sevens season in Portugal and Spain, you will find the Juromenha “Os Barbos” spreading their magic in some summer beach rugby tournaments.
