JEREMY ANGLES - ESPRIT SUD 7´s)

The Espirt Sud Sevens will be one of the new teams that will play in the Algarve 7’s 2023, and we tried to get more information about the Pink Flamingos. Who are they? What can we expect? And can they rock the Elite Men’s competition?

Thank you, Jeremy, for your time! Is the Esprit Sud Sevens ready to take the Algarve 7’s? What can you tell us about you and your team?

JA: Hi, we’re looking forward to coming to Vila Real de Santo António and playing SEVENS with you. Our teams, girls and boys will try to make a good tournament.

It will be your first time in Vila Real de Santo António to play in the Algarve 7’s… what are you expecting?

JA: We will be expecting big hot weather and hope we will enjoy the tournament, the party, and the beach.

What does a team like yours look for in a tournament like this? What would be your three major talking points?

JA: Firstly, we want to play against other teams from all over the world and get better and better. Secondly, we would enjoy the trip and the tournament with the most fun things, like the party of course. COMPETITION! SUN! AND PARTY!

Can you tell us a bit about the Esprit Sud Sevens? How are you and what’s your goal?

JA: Our goal is to make our players progress but also and above all to make them enjoy every SEVENS moment.

Do you think 7’s is still important in France?

JA: We are late on the development of sevens in France but we are all getting motivated and this discipline is starting to grow well for the happiness of all ;)

If you could define your team and teammates in one word (each), what would they be?

JA: Team: Simple; Teammates: Passioned;

Can you tell the fans what can they expect from the Esprit Sud Sevens, and what you want to see in Algarve?

JA: A lot of little PINK FLAMINGOS (laughs).
