The 100 World Legends is the brainchild of a number of ex-international players and has now grown to over 150 legends travelling and supporting charities around the world to spread core values of our sport: Respect for others, Hard Work and Integrity.
This time the 100 World Legends have decided to attend the Algarve 7s international weekend not only to take part in the over 35s Vets tournament but mainly to be in the Algarve to help raise awareneness and funds to the local Ukrainian Societies and groups who are involved in sending supplies and funds to help Ukraine refugees at this difficult time of their lives.
Some of the Legends that have confirmed they will be attending the Algarve 7s include: Dafydd James (Wales/Lions), Kevin Maggs (Ireland), Tom Varndell (England), Fergus Thompson (Scotland), Joao Correia (Portugal), Opeta Palepoi (Samoa), Junior Paramore (Samoa), Tiago Girão (Portugal), Antonio Aguilar (Portugal), Pedro Leal (Portugal), Johnny Leota (Samoa), Lee Imiolek (England), Adérito Esteves (Portugal), Terry Fanolua (Samoa), Max Evans (Scotland), Goncalo Foro (Portugal), Paul Sampson (England), Stuart Taylor (England) and Rowan Frost (Ulster).
