Lagan Lions netball team hail from Belfast, Northern Ireland and are an amassing of player’s across the city’s 4 social leagues which run all year round.
With the help of Netball NI the girls and the leagues have gone from strength to strength since starting in 2018, with the aim of encouraging women into the sport. The league is focused on skills and team development, but with the added goal of female fitness and just having great craic! Which is why their 2 teams of 18 players jumped at the chance to join the inaugural edition of the Algarve Sevens in the Sun NETBALL tournament.
